Well, where to begin... my name is Brian Bergström, I am an amateur photographer and Disney fan. Currently an premium Annual Passholder I usually visit the Park several times a week. Having purchased my first AP in 1988, I have done the rides more than enough times. So I am most likely to be found where entertainment and characters are or just hanging out with friends rather than standing hours in line for attractions. Ok, I also am a pin collector/trader so there are times that I go to those events, and yes sometimes I wear a lanyard showing off my favourite pins which are not for trading.

My Disney character pictures go back to the late 80's, when real 35mm film was the only choice. Then the camera was a Canon AE-1 Program, and it was not unusual for me to shoot several rolls of film during a show like "One Man's Dream." Also being a huge fan of parades, which I usually shot video rather than photographs which I recently converted to DVD going all the way back to 1987 with "Snow White's Golden Anniversary Parade" eventually I plan to post videos on this site also. My favorite parade of all time was the Main Street Electrical Parade.

I was a Cast Member more than 20 years ago and after leaving Disney I continued in the entertainment industry for a while on stage and then moved backstage doing lights, sound, and eventually pyrotechnics, which I have been doing professionally since 1992. Still many Cast Members are my friends and they often tell me I should be a Cast Member again. I would love to, but could not afford to, life goes on and even doing pyrotechnics it would be impossible to make my mortgage payment with what Mickey pays. Besides I enjoy doing whatever I want to do when I’m at the Park, and the Park gives me lots of opportunity to practice photography.

Taking photographs with a 35mm camera got to be expensive and then what to do with all of the prints and negatives. For a long time there have not been digital cameras that been affordable with acceptable quality, some of the smaller older galleries were taken with a lesser quality digital camera, but now with a Nikon D60 Digital SLR taking hundreds of high quality pictures during a show or parade is easy. I started posting my photographs online with the encouragement of several photographer acquaintances, including Britt Dietz, who also have lots of pictures, I started out posting in Photobucket like some, but prefer the idea of having my own website to organize and display my photographs however I want. I have maintained my own internet sites since 1982, yes 1982.

Photography and web design are just hobbies and there is no financial reward from this site, I enjoy the entertainers and their performances. My favourite characters are Alice & Hatter, so many of the photo galleries, especially the older galleries, may be Alice-centric or Alicey (a CM friend came up with that adjective.) I love how they interact with guests and each other, so much different than the other characters which simply appear, sign autographs, pose for pictures, and then disappear again. Alice & Hatter can be found playing Musical Chairs, Storytelling, riding attractions and generally interacting with guests rather than just standing around posing, although they do also pose for pictures regularly. Alice has been my favourite Disney character as far back as I can remember as we share several traits; a curiosity which often leads to trouble, giving oneself very good advice which is seldom followed, and daydreaming of another world. I may continue galleries of pictures backward as well as forward, it takes a surprising amount of time to get the photos ready.  Please feel free to download and enjoy any of my pictures that are posted. I ask that if you repost my pictures you not crop off the watermark in the corner. I am doing this as something I can give back to the entertainment Cast Members, and also because I have no pictures of me from when I was a Cast Member, again back in the days of real film cameras. I do my best to only display the best of the pictures I take, however if there is a picture that the character would prefer not be online I would be happy to consider removing it and while I can't guarantee high resolution images for all pictures that I take, I would certainly try. Or if you have questions of comments feel welcome to contact me or friend me. Being at the Park often as I am please feel free to wave or stop me to say hello.

Let me clearly emphasize that I am not at all interested in a romantic relationship of any kind with any Cast Member or guest at the Park. Many times I have seen performers in the Park not in costume and have not and will not approach or photograph them.
